LIVINGSTON SPIRITUALIST CHURCH
(FOUNDED DEDRIDGE 1978)

SPIRITUALISM is a recognised Religion
Our Church Services are Non-Denominational
We have no rules or regulations. However, we would remind those who attend our Church that consideration for others would be appreciated.
We ask for silence when our Medium leads us in prayer; and when we are being addressed ie., during the talk on Spiritual Truths and Philosophy.

A degree of silence would also be appreciated when the Medium is communicating/ speaking with individual members of the congregation/ audience/ gathering. There is nothing worse than trying to give one's attention to what the Medium is saying when conversations are going on near at hand. Remember, adequate opportunity can be found after the Service to discuss, with your friends, anything the Medium may have given you - when having a cup of tea or coffee perhaps.

We can all benefit from what the Medium has to say, whether it be in direct communication to ourself or from what is given to someone else. There are those who have a great need, for whatever reason, to hear and understand what is being given to them by the Medium - please give them the opportunity to hear what is being said.

We are not against laughter and humour, indeed it is to be welcomed, in its place. As for raising your voices in song, the merrier the better - this helps to bring us together in harmony and raise the vibrations which the Mediums appreciate.

There will be moments of sadness and moments of great joy which we can share with each other. Brotherly/ Sisterly love is spoken of many times during our services, we can show this love by our respect, consideration, compassion, and empathy for those in whose company we find ourselves.

Unsolicited messages are frowned upon. If someone, other than the Medium gives you a message in our Church and you are not certain if the person is a developed Medium / Healer or not, please check with the Church officers before deciding whether to accept or reject what has been given to you.
Eileen M Philp (Founder/Leader)
It does not require you to hope for a life everlasting;
it does not expect you to have faith;
it asks only that you will prove for yourself that life is continuous
and that the love of those who have gone before is forever with us,
to guide, to comfort, to strengthen
and lead us on our very short journey through this life to our true home
where we shall be greeted by our loved ones
who have prepared a place for us.
